A message from current President, Joel Moore:
On behalf of the NAIIA Executive Officers, I am writing to inform you of the cancellation of our annual meeting in May at the Marriott Starr Pass Resort in Tucson. Our decision to cancel our flagship annual event is due to the grave emergency posted by COVID-19 — and it was not taken lightly.
Your executive officers and director, Sheri Csom, have been closely monitoring updates and recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), as well as state and local governments. Through Sheri’s diligent effort, Marriott has agreed to defer the meeting to a future date without further expense to the Association.
With this issue behind us now, your executive board will continue to keep you apprised of pertinent matters affecting our Association membership. We look forward to reporting a positive rebound from this most unfortunate time in both our personal and professional lives.
