Dear Members,
Football Season is on the downhill slide, Thanksgiving is upon us, and Christmas is right around the corner. Your board has been busy discussing moving NAIIA forward this year, as we Reconnect, Promote and Grow our association.
Thank you so much to all the committee chairs and members who have been busy with their committee’s agendas. We have initiated quarterly Zoom meetings with all NAIIA committee members, so if you have not had one yet, you will be contacted by Sheri Csom, our Executive Director, soon. All RVPs are busy planning their region’s meetings for next year AND our conference at JW Marriott Starr Pass Resort & Spa in Tucson, AZ (05/16/2022 – 05/19/2022) is well into the planning stages–so make plans early to attend! This is a conference you will not want to miss. We will have more information for you in upcoming newsletters. If you know of any vendors that would like to attend our conference as a vendor, please let Sheri know. Also, if you know of a claims manager or insurance company representative that would like to be on your regional advisory council, please contact your RVP.
Since our last newsletter, Sheri and I attended the Mid-States meeting in Chicago. I always enjoy Chicago (my birthplace), and this trip did not disappoint. Nino Berardi, Mid-States RVP, did an outstanding job of organizing and putting on this meeting, thanks Nino! Thank you to Platinum Sponsors, Young & Associates; Gold Sponsors, Meaden & Moore, Servpro, Nedervelo, RCF-Inventory Consultants and BMS CAT; and Silver Sponsors, CPLIC and ProNet Group, Inc. Please support these vendors. The Mid-States Advisory Council members put on a lively Q&A session. Young & Associates presented at the educational session, with Evaluating Structural Collapses. Everyone enjoyed the Wednesday reception followed by dinner at Lou Malnati’s. The group dinner Thursday was at Carmine’s.
Bluebooks are set to go out the end of January so be on the lookout.
Thank you all for your participation in NAIIA. Please support the vendors that sponsor events for NAIIA both regionally and nationally. If you are not a CPLIC member, consider becoming one (see their ad in this newsletter). Visit the NAIIA website often and explore the Membership tab to see what the NAIIA has to offer you. Please reach out to your officers and to your Regional RVP, we would love to hear from you. I would like to wish you and your families a very Happy Thanksgiving.
Sincerely,
Cathy Hester, 2021-2022 NAIIA PresidentCJ Hester
