October 2025 Letter from the President

NAIIA President’s Letter – October 2025 Edition

I hope this message finds you well and that you enjoyed a wonderful summer. It was such a pleasure seeing so many of you at this year’s NAIIA Annual Conference at the Sagamore Resort in New York. What a beautiful venue and a fantastic opportunity to reconnect with our members.

At this year’s conference, I had the great honor of being sworn in as your next president. I am both humbled and grateful for the trust you have placed in me.

I would like to extend my sincere thanks to our immediate past president, Bill Schulenberg, for his dedicated service and leadership. Bill is, in every sense of the phrase, a class act. I am also excited to work alongside President-Elect Michael Marsh, Secretary/Treasurer Paul Graf, our Executive Director Sheri Csom, our regional vice presidents, and our many committee members. Most importantly, I look forward to engaging with and serving you, our members. Together, through our shared efforts, we ensure the continued strength and success of the NAIIA.

I encourage each of you to stay active and involved—attend regional meetings, join us at the national conference, and share your perspectives. The NAIIA exists to serve you, and your engagement is what makes our association strong.

The theme I’ve chosen for my term is “Your Voice, Our Strength.” Your voices truly are the foundation of our collective success.

In the coming months, I look forward to attending our regional meetings:

  • Western Region Meeting – October 1–2, 2025 – Hood River, Oregon – Thank you to all that attended
  • Mid-States Region Meeting – October 15–17, 2025 – Lexington, Kentucky
  • Southeast Region Meeting – January 29–30, 2026 – Tampa, Florida
  • Southwest Region Conference – February 4–6, 2026 – Tulsa, Oklahoma
  • Eastern Region Conference – May 13-15th 2026 – Seaview Hotel, Wyndham, New Jersey

Looking ahead, the 2026 NAIIA Annual Conference will be held at The Grand Hotel in Point Clear, Alabama, March 16 – 19, 2026.

Please mark your calendars—I hope to see you there as well as at our regional gatherings.

Lastly, I am happy to inform you through our partnership with Premier Shield Benefits, starting 1/1/2026 they will offer as a health insurance coverage option access to the Blue Cross Blue Shield (BCBS) network. Go to www.premiershieldbenefits.com to obtain further information. Don’t forget to take advantage of the other NAIIA membership benefits. They are listed on the NAIIA website under “Member Benefits”.

As your president, I pledge to represent the NAIIA with professionalism, dedication, and integrity. Thank you for your continued support, and always remember: “Your Voice, Our Strength.”

Sincerely,

Nino A. Berardi
