From the President, October 2023

Dear Members,

It is hard to believe I am now three months into my term as NAIIA President.

As 2023 comes to a close and all of the NAIIA Regional Meetings have concluded, it is time to begin looking ahead for what 2024 holds in store for the NAIIA. The Education Committee is working on a dynamic lineup of speakers for the NAIIA Annual Conference next May at the Hyatt Regency on the Riverwalk in San Antonio, TX. Please allow me to personally invite you to attend not only your Regional Meeting, but also the NAIIA National Meeting. By attending these meetings, I am confident you will see the value in being a member of the NAIIA that is only found from spending time with your fellow members, as well as the educational and marketing opportunities that come by attending.

This year, the NAIIA has exhibited at the PLRB National Claims Conference in Orlando and the PLRB Central Regional Conference in Schaumburg, IL. Both Conferences were well attended and our presence there served to raise awareness of the NAIIA as a valuable resource to those insurance carriers present at the conference. We were also introduced to potential NAIIA Members (some of which have already applied for membership) who were fellow exhibitors. There were also exhibitors present at those conferences who were interested in sponsoring the NAIIA National Meeting, as well as our Regional Meetings. The next conference we will exhibit at will be the National Association of Subrogation Professionals, November 5th – 8th in Colorado Springs, CO. If you are attending the NASP conference, please stop by and say hello. We would love to see you.

My theme for this year is “Better Together.” Participation is key to unlocking the full potential of your membership of this great organization. As always, I am available for any questions or comments, and I welcome your feedback. Thanks to Chris Konig for the suggestion to include my contact information in my newsletter.

Sincerely,

John Henderson, 2023-2024 NAIIA President
