Management and staff of Midland Claims Service, Inc. and Industrial Injury Claims® are pleased to have been selected by WorkCompCollege’s Bob Wilson and Mark Pew as the Exclusive Content Provider for the state of Montana.

https://www.workcompcollege.com was created as one approach, one of the first, to address the ‘great resignation’ and talent gap that the claims industry is entering. By making reasonably priced training available for employers, insurers, claims professionals, safety professionals, doctors, nurses and individuals new the industry, WorkCompCollege leads all organizations in helping professionals understand and prosper in the workers’ compensation field.

Midland Claims Service, Inc. and Industrial Injury Claims® joined together in 2001 to provide workers’ compensation claims services. With a history service in Montana since 1946, Midland’s executives and staff bring much to the table. Midland is a single state claims adjusting TPA. On purpose. Management has held insurance home office positions that supervised claims in nearly 40 states. It was a unanimous agreement some years ago to remain a single state TPA. Our mission remains to be the TPA with the greatest amount of expertise and proven results in Montana.

“It is such an honor,” said Michael J. Marsh, President of Midland, “to have been selected by WorkCompCollege to provide training to existing adjusters and examiners in addition to those new to the claims industry. While we work only in one state, this is an opportunity to impact upon the future of workers’ compensation across the entire United States. The insurance, self- insurance and independent claims industries must fully embrace training and recruitment of non- industry folks. That is what we are trying to do with this initial partnership effort with WorkCompCollege.”

MCSi has produced an initial set of training videos which includes more than five hours of Montana workers’ compensation specific statutory and case law content that is included in the newly released state specific training. Annual updates are anticipated for system changes and impacts created by legislation and case law.
